Comparison review
The Dell Venue 8 7840 is just a bit better than the LG G Pad 8.0, with a 61 score against 58.6. Both tablets we are comparing use Android operating system, but the Dell Venue 8 7840 has older 4.4 version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0. Dell Venue 8 7840's design is lighter and incredibly thinner than the LG G Pad 8.0.
The Dell Venue 8 7840 has a better looking screen than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a quite bigger display, a way better pixel count per display inch and a way higher resolution of 2560 x 1600. The Dell Venue 8 7840 counts with a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Dell Venue 8 7840 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 512 GB.
Dell Venue 8 7840 counts with an extremely better processing unit than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Dell Venue 8 7840 also has a better GPU working at 600 MHz, 1 GB more RAM memory and a 64 bits processor. LG G Pad 8.0 has a way better battery performance than Dell Venue 8 7840.
Dell Venue 8 7840 takes a bit better photographs and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a much more mega pixels camera.
Although Dell Venue 8 7840 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Pad 8.0. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Dell Venue 8 7840, but if you don't you can save some money and get the LG G Pad 8.0, giving up some features and specs.
