The LG G Pad II 10.1 has a general score of 67.4, which is better than LG G Pad 8.0's 58.6 global score. These tablets work with Android operating system, but LG G Pad II 10.1 has 5.1 Lollipop version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 version. LG G Pad II 10.1's design is extremely heavier but noticeably thinner than LG G Pad 8.0.

The LG G Pad II 10.1 has a little bit better hardware performance than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the LG G Pad II 10.1 also counts with more RAM. LG G Pad 8.0 has a little more vivid display than LG G Pad II 10.1, although it has a way smaller display, a little inferior pixels count in each screen inch and a way lower 1280 x 800 resolution.

The LG G Pad II 10.1 counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the LG G Pad II 10.1 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG G Pad II 10.1 counts with a much longer battery life than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 7400mAh battery size.

The LG G Pad II 10.1 features a better camera than LG G Pad 8.0. Both have a 5 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video resolution.
