The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a sharper display than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen, a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800 and a lot smaller display.

Microsoft Surface Go counts with a superior memory capacity for games and applications than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal memory capacity. The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a superior battery life than Microsoft Surface Go. Microsoft Surface Go counts with a bit better camera than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Microsoft Surface Go also has a way higher 8 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.

Although Microsoft Surface Go is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G Pad 8.0. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the LG G Pad 8.0, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
