Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Pro is slightly better than the LG G Pad 8.0, with a 63.2 score against 58.6. Microsoft Surface Pro is a a lot thicker and way heavier device than the LG G Pad 8.0. The Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro operating system, while LG G Pad 8.0 comes with Android 5.0 operating system.

The Microsoft Surface Pro features just a little better performance than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and a better GPU working at 650 megahertz. The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Pro, although it has a quite inferior count of pixels per inch in the display, a much smaller display and a lot lower resolution of 1280 x 800px.

LG G Pad 8.0 shoots better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a way more mega-pixels back camera and a way better (Full HD) video quality. The Microsoft Surface Pro features a very superior memory for games and applications than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory.

The LG G Pad 8.0 features a way better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Pad 8.0. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro, but if you don't you can save some money and get the LG G Pad 8.0, resigning a couple specifications.
