Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is much better than the LG G Pad 8.0, getting a global score of 65.1 against 58.6. Although it's the best tablet we compare here, Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a way thicker and extremely heavier tablet than the LG G Pad 8.0. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, while LG G Pad 8.0 counts with Android 5.0 operating system.

Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a little bit better performance than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit and a lower number of cores (although faster), it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory. The LG G Pad 8.0 features just a bit better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, although it has a just a little lower pixel density, a way worse 1280 x 800 resolution and a lot smaller display.

LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a much better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a lot higher (Full HD) video resolution. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Pad 8.0. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the LG G Pad 8.0, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
