LG G Pad 8.0 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, having a score of 58.6 against 58.1. Both tablets in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G Pad 8.0 has a more recent 5.0 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4, providing you a lot of extra features and some performance improvements. The LG G Pad 8.0 body is notably lighter but somewhat thicker than the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
LG G Pad 8.0 features a superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has more cpu cores and an additional graphics processing unit. The LG G Pad 8.0 features a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a much smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 800 resolution, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with a greater quantity of pixels per inch of display.
LG G Pad 8.0 features a bit bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB.
