Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a global score of 65, which is much better than LG G Pad 8.0's 58.6 general score. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has older 4.1 version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 version. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a way heavier but a little bit thinner tablet than LG G Pad 8.0.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a processor that is very similar to LG G Pad 8.0's processing unit, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a slower graphics co-processor running at 400 MHz and 2 less cpu cores , they both have 1 GB of RAM memory. The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800px, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with a higher pixel quantity per screen inch.

The LG G Pad 8.0 features a superior camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video definition, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has a back facing camera with a way better 5 megapixels resolution. LG G Pad 8.0 features a bit more storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have equal internal storage, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 64 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a really longer battery performance than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 67% bigger battery size.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G Pad 8.0. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), but if you don't you can save some money and get the LG G Pad 8.0, giving up some features and specifications.
