Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has an overall score of 60.7, which is a little bit better than LG G Pad 8.0's 58.6 overall score. These devices have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has the older 4.1 version and LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 version. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a just a little bit thicker and just a bit heavier tablet than the LG G Pad 8.0.

LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a little bit larger display, a better resolution of 1280 x 800 and a just a bit more pixels per inch of display. LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have 1 GB of RAM, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has a higher number of cores (and they are faster) and an additional graphics co-processor.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) captures clearer photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, although it has a back facing camera with a way lower 3 MP resolution and a much lower 1280x720 (HD) video resolution. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that allows 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.

LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G Pad 8.0. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the LG G Pad 8.0, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
