The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is way better than LG G Pad 8.0, having a 74.5 score against 58.6. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 version. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a a lot heavier but a lot thinner tablet than LG G Pad 8.0.
Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a little faster CPU than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and a larger number of cores. The LG G Pad 8.0 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, although it has a quite lower pixel count in each inch of display, a lot worse resolution of 1280 x 800px and a really smaller display.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a very superior memory for games and applications than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB and 16 GB more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a greater camera than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a much better battery lifetime than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has 7300mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G Pad 8.0. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the LG G Pad 8.0, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
