Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is just a bit better than the LG G Pad 8.0, with a global score of 62.8 against 58.6. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 construction is a little bit lighter and noticeably thinner than the LG G Pad 8.0. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has newer 7.1 Nougat version and LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0, so it provides the user some nice extra features and a performance increase.

LG G Pad 8.0 has a better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a display of the same size, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has a little higher pixels amount in each display inch and a bit higher 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a slightly bigger storage for games and applications than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 128 GB.

The LG G Pad 8.0 has a little faster CPU than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with an extra GPU. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and LG G Pad 8.0 both count with incredibly similar batteries performance.

LG G Pad 8.0 and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 count with very similar cameras, they have the same resolution back facing camera, the same video frame rates and the same (HD) video quality.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is way more expensive than LG G Pad 8.0, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
