Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a general score of 60.5, which is just a bit better than the LG G Pad 8.0's overall score of 58.6. Both tablets in our current comparison have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has newer 7.1 Nougat version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 version, counting with some extra features. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is a way thinner but a lot heavier tablet than LG G Pad 8.0.

The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a way better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels density and a bit higher 1280 x 800px resolution. The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 4 CPU cores, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features just a bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a much longer battery duration than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 4200mAh.

Galaxy Tab A 9.7's camera is very similar to the LG G Pad 8.0 one, they have the same 1280x720 video definition, a camera with a 5 mega-pixels resolution and the same video frame rates.

Although Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G Pad 8.0. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, else you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G Pad 8.0, letting go a couple features and specs.
