The Galaxy Tab Active Pro is way better than LG G Pad 8.0, having a 77.5 score against 58.6. Both tablets in this comparison include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Active Pro has 9.0 Pie version and LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro body has the same thickness than LG G Pad 8.0, but it is a lot heavier.
LG G Pad 8.0 has just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, although it has a lot smaller display, a just a bit lower amount of pixels per inch of screen and a lot lower resolution of 1280 x 800px. Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a way bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a bit better CPU than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and 3 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a very superior battery performance than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 7600mAh battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a much better camera than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a way better video quality and a back camera with lot more mega pixels.
Although Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G Pad 8.0. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab Active Pro, else you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G Pad 8.0, resigning some features and specs.
