Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is way better than LG G Pad 8.0, getting a 74.5 score against 58.6. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has the older 4.4.2 version and LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a lighter and incredibly thinner tablet device than the LG G Pad 8.0.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a little faster CPU than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of faster cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a better screen than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a way greater pixels density, a bit larger display and a much better 2560 x 1600 resolution.

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a lot better camera than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with greater battery lifetime than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has 4900mAh of battery capacity against 4200mAh.

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 costs a lot more money than the LG G Pad 8.0, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
