Comparison review

The LG G Pad 8.3 has an overall score of 65.9, which is just a bit better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's global score of 60.8. LG G Pad 8.3's design is a little heavier but a bit thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and both of them were only released with a couple months difference. These devices use Android OS, but LG G Pad 8.3 has a newer 4.4 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a bit sharper display than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1200 x 1920px resolution, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also counts with a just a little better pixel number in each inch in the display. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a bit better CPU than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 2 GB RAM memory, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has an extra graphics processing unit.

The LG G Pad 8.3 has a very superior camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 48 GB more internal memory. The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a very superior battery duration than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

Although LG G Pad 8.3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the LG G Pad 8.3, else you can save some dollars and get the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, letting go some specifications.
