Google Pixel Slate is much better than LG G Pad 8.3, having a 79.3 score against 65.9. The Google Pixel Slate design is newer and thinner than the LG G Pad 8.3's, but it is way heavier. Google Pixel Slate has Chrome OS OS, while LG G Pad 8.3 comes with Android 4.4 OS. LG G Pad 8.3 features a little bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of cores.
LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a little more vivid screen than Google Pixel Slate, although it has a way smaller display, a little bit lower pixel number per inch of display and a lot worse 1200 x 1920 resolution. Google Pixel Slate counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.
The LG G Pad 8.3 has a much better battery performance than Google Pixel Slate. The Google Pixel Slate has a slightly better camera than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Google Pixel Slate also has a much larger camera aperture and a lot higher 8 MP resolution back camera.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G Pad 8.3. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, else you can save some dollars and buy the LG G Pad 8.3, giving up a couple features and specs.
