Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is much better than LG G Pad 8.3, with a 75.8 score against 65.9. Both tablets in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has 4.4.2 version while LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 4.4. Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) and the LG G Pad 8.3 were only released with a couple months difference, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)'s design is heavier but just a little bit thinner than the LG G Pad 8.3.

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a bit faster processing unit than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has more RAM memory and an additional graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a bit more vivid screen than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a bigger display, a better resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a little bit higher number of pixels in each inch in the display.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a much better memory to store more apps and games than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has 16 GB more internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a way better battery lifetime than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has an 8220mAh battery size.

The LG G Pad 8.3 has a much better camera than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), although it has a lower video quality and a much less mega-pixels camera in the back.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Pad 8.3. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the LG G Pad 8.3, letting go some features and specs.
