The Galaxy Note 8.0 is just a bit better than LG G Pad 8.3, getting a overall score of 69.2 against 65.9. The Galaxy Note 8.0 design has the same weight than the LG G Pad 8.3, but it's just a little thinner. Both tablets in this comparison review have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has 4.4.2 version and LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 4.4 version, so it gives some additional features and increased performance.
The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a better display than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a quite bigger screen, a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a better amount of pixels per inch of screen. The LG G Pad 8.3 and the Galaxy Note 8.0 both have very similar storage to install games and applications, both of them have a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 64 GB and the same internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Note 8.0 features a bit faster processing unit than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU and a 2 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an additional graphics processor. The LG G Pad 8.3 captures better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a way better 1920x1080 video quality.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a battery life that's just as good as LG G Pad 8.3's battery duration.
Although Galaxy Note 8.0 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G Pad 8.3. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the LG G Pad 8.3, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
