LG G Pad 8.3 is better than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, having a 65.9 score against 58.8. These tablets come with Android operating system, but the LG G Pad 8.3 has newer 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0, so it offers lots of additional features and increased performance. The LG G Pad 8.3 body is much newer, a bit thinner and noticeably lighter than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE.

The LG G Pad 8.3 has a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a larger number of faster cores. The LG G Pad 8.3 has a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution and a way higher display pixel density.

The LG G Pad 8.3 features a very superior camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera and a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution. LG G Pad 8.3 has much more memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with better battery life than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a 33 percent greater battery size.
