Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is much better than the LG G Pad 8.3, with a overall score of 75.2 against 65.9. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a just a little lighter and somewhat thinner tablet device than the LG G Pad 8.3, although they were released with only 4 months difference. Both devices we compare here work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 4.4.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features just a bit better processing power than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has an extra graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a little bit better looking screen than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has more pixels per inch in the display, a little larger display and a better resolution of 2560 x 1600px.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has 32 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a little longer battery lifetime than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a 4% larger battery size.
The LG G Pad 8.3 takes a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it has a much less megapixels resolution back-facing camera and a worse video resolution.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 costs a lot more than LG G Pad 8.3, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
