Galaxy Tab S8 is better than LG G Pad 8.3, having a 76.7 score against 65.9. Even though the Galaxy Tab S8 is extremely heavier than the LG G Pad 8.3, it's extremely thinner and also way newer. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab S8 has a more recent 13 version and LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 4.4, so it provides the user a couple additional features and optimized performance.
The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a way smaller display, a way worse resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a quite lower pixels density. The LG G Pad 8.3 has a much better performing processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a superior storage for apps and games than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has 112 GB more internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1 TB. Galaxy Tab S8 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a much higher video resolution and a back-facing camera with much more MP.
The Galaxy Tab S8 has a much longer battery life than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has an 8000mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G Pad 8.3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab S8, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G Pad 8.3, giving up some specs and features.
