LG G Pad F 8.0 has a general score of 58.2, which is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 8.9's overall score of 58.1. Both tablets in this review include Android operating system, but LG G Pad F 8.0 has newer 5.0 Lollipop version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version, so it provides you some extra features and optimized performance. Even though the LG G Pad F 8.0 is just a little thicker than Galaxy Tab 8.9, it's noticeably lighter and also extremely newer.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a brighter display than LG G Pad F 8.0, because although it has a just a little lower pixel density, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a little larger display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a quite bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G Pad F 8.0, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory.

LG G Pad F 8.0 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a greater number of cores.
