Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a global score of 67.9, which is a little bit better than LG G Pad F2 8.0's overall score of 62.7. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's body is a little thinner than the LG G Pad F2 8.0, although it's just a little bit heavier and was released 3 years before. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has an older 4.4 version while LG G Pad F2 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat version.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with an incredibly better looking display than LG G Pad F2 8.0, because it has a much better 1600 x 2560px resolution, a little bit larger screen and a much better pixels count per inch in the screen. LG G Pad F2 8.0 has a much better storage for applications and games than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features just a bit better hardware performance than LG G Pad F2 8.0, although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), they both have the same RAM memory amount. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a better camera than LG G Pad F2 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a much better 8 megapixels resolution back camera.
The LG G Pad F2 8.0 has a much better battery performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
Although Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G Pad F2 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G Pad F2 8.0. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the LG G Pad F2 8.0, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
