The LG G Pad II 10.1 is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, getting a global score of 67.4 against 66.2. LG G Pad II 10.1 is a a lot heavier tablet than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, but both of them have the same thickness. Both tablets in this comparison come with Android OS, but LG G Pad II 10.1 has the newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has Android 4.4.2.

LG G Pad II 10.1 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have 4 processing cores, the LG G Pad II 10.1 also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a little more vivid display than LG G Pad II 10.1, although it has a much lower resolution of 1280 x 800px, a much smaller screen and a just a bit inferior amount of pixels per inch of display.

LG G Pad II 10.1 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the LG G Pad II 10.1 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB.

LG G Pad II 10.1 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera. The LG G Pad II 10.1 features a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has 7400mAh of battery capacity.
