The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a score of 68.3, which is a bit better than the LG G Pad II 10.1's general score of 67.4. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has 8.1 Oreo version while LG G Pad II 10.1 has Android 5.1 Lollipop. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) design is extremely newer and noticeably lighter than the LG G Pad II 10.1's, but it is also thicker.

LG G Pad II 10.1 features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018). They have a 2 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. LG G Pad II 10.1 counts with a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a just a bit more pixels per screen inch, a bigger screen and a much higher 1200 x 1920px resolution.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) shoots much clearer photographs and videos than LG G Pad II 10.1.
