LG G Pad III 8.0 is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), with a global score of 64.3 against 61.4. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but LG G Pad III 8.0 has a newer 7.0 Nougat version and Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1, offering some extra features. LG G Pad III 8.0 is a a lot lighter and somewhat thinner device than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1).

LG G Pad III 8.0 has a better processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster) and a greater amount of RAM. LG G Pad III 8.0 has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better screen pixel density and a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920px.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has just a bit better camera than LG G Pad III 8.0, although it has a back camera with a much lower 3 mega-pixels resolution and a way lower 1280x720 video quality. The LG G Pad III 8.0 has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and 16 GB internal storage.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a really longer battery lifetime than LG G Pad III 8.0, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity.
