Comparison review

LG G Pad X 10.1 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, with a general score of 67.4 against 66.2. The LG G Pad X 10.1 is a newer and a little bit thinner tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, although it's way heavier. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but LG G Pad X 10.1 has newer 5.1 Lollipop version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has Android 4.4.2 version.

LG G Pad X 10.1 has a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Pad X 10.1 also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a bit more vivid display than LG G Pad X 10.1, although it has a way lower resolution of 1280 x 800px, a just a bit less pixels per screen inch and a lot smaller display.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and LG G Pad X 10.1 count with very similar cameras, although the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a lot worse 1280x720 (HD) video quality and a back facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution. LG G Pad X 10.1 counts with a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and 16 GB more internal memory.

The LG G Pad X 10.1 features a way better battery performance than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has a 7400mAh battery capacity.
