LG G Pad X 10.1 has an overall score of 67.4, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 8.9's general score of 58.1. LG G Pad X 10.1 is a much newer and thinner tablet than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, but it is just a little bit heavier. Both devices we are comparing here come with Android operating system, but the LG G Pad X 10.1 has newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0, providing the user a couple additional features and increased performance.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a little sharper display than LG G Pad X 10.1, although it has a little bit smaller display, a lot lower resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a just a little lower amount of pixels per inch in the screen. The LG G Pad X 10.1 features a very superior memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The LG G Pad X 10.1 has a better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has more CPU cores. LG G Pad X 10.1 has improved battery performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has 7400mAh of battery capacity. LG G Pad X 10.1 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a much better video resolution and a way more megapixels back facing camera.
