LG G Pad X 10.1 has an overall score of 67.4, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's general score of 58.8. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but the LG G Pad X 10.1 has a more recent 5.1 Lollipop version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 version, so it gives you some additional features and some performance improvements. The LG G Pad X 10.1 is a a lot newer and thinner tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, but it is also just a little bit heavier.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a slightly better display than LG G Pad X 10.1, although it has a just a little worse screen pixels density, a way worse resolution of 800 x 1280 and a bit smaller screen. The LG G Pad X 10.1 features a very superior memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and 32 GB internal memory.

LG G Pad X 10.1 counts with a better processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a larger number of faster cores. The LG G Pad X 10.1 takes much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a much better 8 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a lot better (Full HD) video quality.

LG G Pad X 10.1 features better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a 7400mAh battery size.
