Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is slightly better than the LG G Pad X 8.0, getting a general score of 67.9 against 63.5. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has the previous 4.4 version while LG G Pad X 8.0 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Despite of the fact the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is older and somewhat heavier than LG G Pad X 8.0, it's body is still a bit thinner.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a little faster processor than LG G Pad X 8.0, although it has a lower number of cores , they both have 2 GB of RAM memory. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a brighter screen than LG G Pad X 8.0, because it has a better resolution of 1600 x 2560, a just a bit greater screen density and a little bit bigger display.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has more storage capacity to install applications and games than LG G Pad X 8.0, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The LG G Pad X 8.0 features a really longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a much better camera than LG G Pad X 8.0, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rate, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
