Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is slightly better than LG G Pad X 8.0, with a 66.5 score against 63.5. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is an a lot older and extremely thicker tablet device than LG G Pad X 8.0, but Samsung managed to make it just a little lighter anyway. Both devices in this review come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has 4.4.2 version while LG G Pad X 8.0 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
LG G Pad X 8.0 features a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a little larger display, a lot higher pixels density and a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920px. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and LG G Pad X 8.0 both have similar processing units, because although the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 has lesser CPU cores and lesser RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.
The LG G Pad X 8.0 has a bit more memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the LG G Pad X 8.0 also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 128 GB. The LG G Pad X 8.0 captures slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
LG G Pad X 8.0 has just a bit better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, because it has 4650mAh of battery capacity.
