Both tablets in this review use Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has 11 version while LG G Pad X 8.0 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is a a lot newer and just a bit thinner tablet than LG G Pad X 8.0, although it's also a lot heavier.
LG G Pad X 8.0 features a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019), because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution, the LG G Pad X 8.0 also counts with a better pixel amount in each inch of screen. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than LG G Pad X 8.0, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 112 GB more internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) features a bit better processing power than LG G Pad X 8.0, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) also has a larger amount of RAM.
