Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a bit better than the LG G Pad X 8.3, with a overall score of 67.9 against 63.8. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has older 4.4 version while LG G Pad X 8.3 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Even though the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 and LG G Pad X 8.3 were only released with a few months difference, Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's body is thinner but also just a bit heavier.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a much better looking display than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has a higher pixel density, a quite bigger screen and a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has just a little better processing power than LG G Pad X 8.3, although it has 4 lesser CPU cores , they both have the same RAM memory amount.
LG G Pad X 8.3 has a slightly better camera than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. Both of them have the same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a greater storage to install games and applications than LG G Pad X 8.3, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The LG G Pad X 8.3 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
