Comparison review
The Blackview OSCAL Pad 16 has a global score of 65.2, which is slightly better than the LG G Pad X 8.3's 63.8 global score. Even though Blackview OSCAL Pad 16 is notably heavier than LG G Pad X 8.3, it's somewhat thinner and also a lot newer. Both tablets in this review include Android operating system, but the Blackview OSCAL Pad 16 has the older 13 version and LG G Pad X 8.3 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
Blackview OSCAL Pad 16 features a display that's very similar to the LG G Pad X 8.3 one, because although the Blackview OSCAL Pad 16 has a little less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a little bit higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a bigger screen. The Blackview OSCAL Pad 16 counts with a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has 240 GB more internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1 TB.
Blackview OSCAL Pad 16 counts with just a little better processing power than LG G Pad X 8.3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Blackview OSCAL Pad 16 also has a greater amount of RAM. The LG G Pad X 8.3 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Blackview OSCAL Pad 16, although it has a camera with a much worse 8 MP resolution.
The Blackview OSCAL Pad 16 features a much better battery life than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has an 8200mAh battery capacity.
