The Google Nexus 9 is better than the LG G Pad X 8.3, getting a global score of 74.5 against 63.8. The Google Nexus 9 design is just a little thinner but somewhat heavier than the LG G Pad X 8.3, and both were only released with a couple months difference. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Google Nexus 9 has 5.0 version while LG G Pad X 8.3 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Google Nexus 9 has a little faster processor than LG G Pad X 8.3, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), and they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Google Nexus 9 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit. Google Nexus 9 counts with a much better screen than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has a better 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution, a little bit better pixel density and a little bit bigger screen.
The LG G Pad X 8.3 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Google Nexus 9. They have the same video quality, the same video frame rates and the same resolution back-facing camera. LG G Pad X 8.3 features a bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Google Nexus 9, because although it has just 16 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits up to 128 GB.
The Google Nexus 9 has a way better battery duration than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has 6700mAh of battery capacity instead of 4800mAh.
