Comparison review

LG G Pad X 8.3 has a score of 63.8, which is a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M1's general score of 61.5. The LG G Pad X 8.3 construction is newer than the Huawei MediaPad M1's, although it's a little thicker and heavier. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G Pad X 8.3 has newer 6.0 Marshmallow version and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2, so it provides some additional features and performance enhancements.

The LG G Pad X 8.3 has a bit better processor than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a greater number of cores (but slower) and a larger amount of RAM. The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a bit better display than LG G Pad X 8.3, although it has a way lower resolution of 1280 x 800, a lot less pixels per inch in the display and a little smaller display.

LG G Pad X 8.3 shoots way better pictures and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the LG G Pad X 8.3 also has a much more mega-pixels back facing camera. The LG G Pad X 8.3 has much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB and 16 GB internal memory capacity.

The Huawei MediaPad M1's battery duration is just as good as the battery performance in LG G Pad X 8.3.
