Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is much better than the LG G Pad X 8.3, having a 77.4 score against 63.8. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has the older 4.4.2 version and LG G Pad X 8.3 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Although Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is older and noticeably heavier than the LG G Pad X 8.3, it's design is still a bit thinner.
The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features just a bit better processing power than LG G Pad X 8.3, because although it has 4 less cpu cores (although they are faster), it also counts with more RAM memory and an additional GPU. GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a brighter screen than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has a higher 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution, a little better pixel density and a larger screen.
GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a much better storage for games and applications than LG G Pad X 8.3, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. LG G Pad X 8.3 counts with a much better camera than GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition).
