LG G Pad X 8.3 has an overall score of 63.8, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 overall score. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but the LG G Pad X 8.3 has the newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4, providing the user a couple additional features. The LG G Pad X 8.3 body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, but it is extremely lighter.

LG G Pad X 8.3 counts with a quite superior performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a larger number of cores (and faster). The LG G Pad X 8.3 counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher pixel quantity per inch of screen and a way better resolution of 1080 x 1920px.

The LG G Pad X 8.3 has a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same video definition, the LG G Pad X 8.3 also has a camera in the back with a much higher resolution and faster video frame rates. LG G Pad X 8.3 has more memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has just 16 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a superior battery life than LG G Pad X 8.3, because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity instead of 4800mAh.
