The LG G Pad X 8.3 has an overall score of 63.8, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0's global score of 62.8. Despite being the best device in this review, the LG G Pad X 8.3 is a somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker device than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but LG G Pad X 8.3 has 6.0 Marshmallow version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has Android 7.1 Nougat.

LG G Pad X 8.3 has a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and a higher number of faster cores. LG G Pad X 8.3 features a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a way higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a little bit bigger display and a lot better pixels number per screen inch.

The LG G Pad X 8.3 features a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels and a lot better (Full HD) video resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0's storage to install games and applications is just as good as LG G Pad X 8.3's one, both of them have equal 16 GB internal memory and a SD memory slot that holds up to 128 GB.

LG G Pad X 8.3 features a little better battery performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 14% greater battery capacity.
