The LG G Pad X 8.3 is a bit better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a general score of 61.1 against 60.8. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the LG G Pad X 8.3 has a more recent 5.0 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version, so it counts with a lot of extra features and increased performance. LG G Pad X 8.3's construction is newer and just a little bit thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's, but it's heavier.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a more vivid display than LG G Pad X 8.3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a just a little better display pixels density. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than LG G Pad X 8.3, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
