LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), with a 62.5 score against 61.4. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus has newer 7.0 Nougat version and Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1, offering a couple additional features and better performance. LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus's design is noticeably newer, notably lighter and notably thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1).

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) captures just a bit better pictures and videos than LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus, although it has a way lower video definition and a much lower 3 megapixels resolution back facing camera. LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus has a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has 32 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a way better battery performance than LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
