The LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus has a global score of 62.5, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's 61.7 global score. Both devices in this review use Android OS, but the LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus has the newer 7.0 Nougat version while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1. The LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus is a a lot newer tablet, and it is also lighter and extremely thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE.

The LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus has just a bit better display than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a way higher 1200 x 1920 resolution, a quite larger screen and a way better amount of pixels per display inch. The LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus features a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and more RAM.

LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus has a very superior memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 24 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a much longer battery life than LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 2900mAh.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with just a bit better camera than LG G Pad X II 8.0 Plus, although it has a way less mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a lot lower video quality.
