Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a global score of 61.4, which is a bit better than LG Optimus Pad LTE's 56.4 general score. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has newer 4.1 version while LG Optimus Pad LTE has Android 3.2 version. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a somewhat heavier and just a bit thicker device than the LG Optimus Pad LTE.

The LG Optimus Pad LTE has a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). They have the same number of cores. LG Optimus Pad LTE has a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a quite smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 720 x 1280px, it also counts with a bit greater display pixels density.

LG Optimus Pad LTE has a much bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The LG Optimus Pad LTE takes a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a back-facing camera with much more megapixels.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a little better battery lifetime than LG Optimus Pad LTE, because it has a 3% greater battery capacity.
