Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is just a bit better than the LG Optimus Pad LTE, getting a 58.1 score against 56.4. These devices have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has 3.0 version and LG Optimus Pad LTE has Android 3.2 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is an older device than the LG Optimus Pad LTE, but Samsung managed to make it a little lighter and a bit thinner anyway.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a bit more vivid screen than LG Optimus Pad LTE, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 also has a little more pixels per inch in the display and a quite better resolution of 800 x 1280. LG Optimus Pad LTE counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both of them have the same number of cores.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a slightly bigger storage to install games and applications than LG Optimus Pad LTE, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The LG Optimus Pad LTE captures much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.

LG Optimus Pad LTE has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.
