Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is a bit better than the LG Optimus Pad LTE, getting a score of 58.8 against 56.4. Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's body is a little lighter and just a bit thinner than LG Optimus Pad LTE, although both were released only 5 months apart. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has the newer 4.0 version and LG Optimus Pad LTE has Android 3.2, so it provides some additional features and some performance improvements.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a little sharper display than LG Optimus Pad LTE, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also has a little bit higher resolution of 800 x 1280px and a just a bit better screen pixel density. Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE and LG Optimus Pad LTE feature very similar CPUs, both have the same number of cores.

The LG Optimus Pad LTE has a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a lot more MP back facing camera. The LG Optimus Pad LTE features a superior memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 32 GB and 32 GB internal storage capacity.

The LG Optimus Pad LTE features a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has an 11 percent more battery capacity.
