Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is much better than LG Optimus Pad, getting a overall score of 67 against 50.3. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a notably lighter and a lot thinner device than the LG Optimus Pad. Both devices in our current comparison have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has newer 4.4.2 version and LG Optimus Pad has Android 3.0 version, so it provides some additional features and enhanced performance.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has just a bit better screen than LG Optimus Pad, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a slightly higher 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a little larger display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has just a bit more storage capacity to install applications and games than LG Optimus Pad, because although it has just 16 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 64 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a better processor than LG Optimus Pad, because it has an extra graphics processing unit and a larger number of cores (and also faster). Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a much longer battery duration than LG Optimus Pad. The LG Optimus Pad takes a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a way better 5 megapixels resolution camera.

Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a little more expensive than LG Optimus Pad, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
