Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 2 has a score of 61.8, which is better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2's 54.2 score. Even though the Microsoft Surface 2 and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 were only released with a couple of months difference, the Microsoft Surface 2 is noticeably thinner and lighter. These devices have Windows OS (operating system), but Microsoft Surface 2 has the newer RT 8.1 version while Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has Windows 8.1 Pro version, so it gives you a lot of extra features.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a display that is just as good as Microsoft Surface 2's screen, both of them have the same quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, a display with the same size and the same exact resolution of 1080 x 1920px. The Microsoft Surface 2 features a little bit better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with much more memory capacity for apps and games than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a way better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a lot better (Full HD) video definition.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2's battery life is very similar to the battery life in Microsoft Surface 2.
Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the Microsoft Surface 2 is also cheaper than the other tablet, making it a very good choice.
