Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 2 is a bit better than Asus VivoTab RT, with a 63.4 score against 61. These devices include Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface 2 has RT 8.1 version while Asus VivoTab RT has Windows RT, so it counts with a lot of extra features and better performance. The Microsoft Surface 2 design is newer, but just a bit thicker and heavier than Asus VivoTab RT.
Microsoft Surface 2 features a little sharper screen than Asus VivoTab RT, because it has a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution, a better pixels number in each inch of screen and a bit larger display. The Microsoft Surface 2 features a little faster processing unit than Asus VivoTab RT. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount.
The Asus VivoTab RT and Microsoft Surface 2 both feature similar memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, and although the Asus VivoTab RT has no external memory slot, they both have equal 64 GB internal storage. Asus VivoTab RT captures greater pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Asus VivoTab RT also has a back facing camera with way more megapixels.
The Asus VivoTab RT and Microsoft Surface 2 count with very similar battery performance.
Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Asus VivoTab RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus VivoTab RT. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Microsoft Surface 2, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Asus VivoTab RT, resigning a couple features and specs.
