The Galaxy Note 8.0 is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface 2, having a 68.4 score against 63.4. The Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with Android 4.4.2 operating system, while Microsoft Surface 2 works with Windows RT 8.1 operating system. Galaxy Note 8.0's body is a lot lighter and somewhat thinner than the Microsoft Surface 2, although both were released only 7 months apart.

The Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a really larger screen, a just a little higher pixels number per inch in the screen and a way better 1080 x 1920px resolution.
