Microsoft Surface 2's body is newer and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's, but it is also extremely heavier. The Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 operating system, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus comes with Android 4.1.2 operating system.
