Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 3 has a score of 66.3, which is much better than the Acer Iconia W510's 57.5 overall score. Microsoft Surface 3's design is newer and a little thinner than the Acer Iconia W510's, although it's also just a little bit heavier. Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a slightly better screen than Acer Iconia W510, because it has a little bigger display, a much higher 1920 x 1280px resolution and a better amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Microsoft Surface 3 has a way bigger storage to store more games and applications than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Acer Iconia W510's processing unit is just as good as the processing unit in Microsoft Surface 3, because although the Acer Iconia W510 has an inferior number of cores and they are also slower and 2 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics processor.
Microsoft Surface 3 takes a little bit better photos and videos than Acer Iconia W510. Both have the same video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same resolution back-facing camera. Acer Iconia W510 counts with a way better battery performance than Microsoft Surface 3.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia W510. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Acer Iconia W510, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
